• One place, one soul
Running a hotel requires diligence and organisation, but also a high level of discretion. As soon as you walk through the doors of the Auberge du Lac, this triple ability possessed by Marie-Christine and Patrick GUBLIN is immediately in evidence.
The design and development of their establishment has been based on the fundamentals of a profession they have mastered and know through and through.

• Around the original small rural bar, they have purchased local houses built of a combination of stone, brick and wooden beams.
The harmony created by the old buildings is not broken by the more modern structures, light and transparent, which serve as walkways between the various buildings, all overlooking the central patio which is full of greenery and colour.
They love flowers here so it comes as no surprise that Mari-Christine has given her rooms floral names : Iris, Mimosa, Lilac, Hydrangea, Nasturtium, Daffodil and Poppy. |

• In the same way, the architects have made the most of metal and glass to design the small lounge, bathed in the natural light that pours through its windows, through which you pass on your arrival.
You then have two types of room to choose from, the first were created in 1982 in a typical Champenois building where the spirit of times gone by sits side by side with modern comfort (fifteen rooms) and then there are the luxury bedrooms (six) in a more contemporary extension, which offer additional facilities like balneo baths, for example.
A local clientele, as well as visitors from much further afield, love to come here and enjoy the sophisticated decoration which exudes conviviality.
